[Canción de la semana] Hallelujah

Y una semana más, volvemos, de nuevo tarde, con la Canción de la Semana…

La canción que he elegido ésta vez es Hallelujah, una obra de arte simplemente, PRECIOSA, en negrita y con mayúsculas, escrita por un ARTISTA como Leonard Cohen en 1984, pero que, como a veces pasa con las grandes obras, no cosechó mucho éxito hasta que empezó a ser versionada por otros artistas.
Desde Bob Dylan hasta Il Divo, un total de 200 artistas (que se dice pronto) han versionado ésta canción. Y una no puede evitar preguntarse por qué a veces nos cuesta reconocer el ARTE con mayúsculas.

Algunas de las versiones más conocidas son las interpretadas por John Cale, K.D. Lang, Jeff Buckley o Rufus Wainwright, pero yo no he elegido ninguna de ellas, porque son buenas, pero a mí la que me más me gusta es la que canta Jon.
Porque oírle cantar con su voz, dulce y rasgada a la vez, mientras se oyen los acordes de David y el sonido de violines de fondo, me pone los pelos como escarpias y hace que de repente, sienta que un vacío dentro de mí que no sabía que tenía, se llene de golpe. Y el súmmum llega con él aguantando ahí arriba ése Hallelujah que te hace vibrar cada segundo que dura, y en el que notas como se le va la voz, pero no por ello baja el ritmo.
Y porque puestos a poner un vídeo, su creador es quien se merecía estar en el post, así que aquí tenéis ambos vídeos, dos formas distintas de cantar una canción INCREÍBLE, y que espero os guste al menos la mitad de lo que me gusta a mí.

Cómo podéis ver, os he puesto 3 vídeos. Los dos primeros son de Jon, en directo y en una versión en Unplugged. El tercero es la versión de estudio original de Cohen, que sí, es también la que utilizan en Watchmen :P
